Strathmore Overnight Shelter

StrathmoreOvernightShelter

The Strathmore Overnight Shelter is run by volunteers in partnership with the Harvest Healing Church in Strathmore.

This shelter provides a warm place to stay, and meals for residents needing somewhere to stay the night temporarily. This Shelter offers separate male and female housing areas, and as a result they cannot offer a place to stay for families. They refer all families to the Wheatland Crisis Shelter.

Volunteers at the Overnight Shelter help with providing meals, overnight supervision, laundry and shelter maintenance and fundraising. The Shelter Board typically meets once a month to discuss fundraising and the upkeep of the Shelter.
