The Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour will be coming to Strathmore from December 21 – December 22 2019.

The Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour is a festival of hockey that gives 25 towns all across Canada the NHL ® fan experience. Sportsnet hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Slone will be in attendance in Strathmore to celebrate local hockey stories and hockey’s stars.

Additional events throughout the day will include a hockey skills competition, smore tasting and judging, heated tents, firepits, and a fun photo booth.

Sunday will be a continuation of Saturday’s festivities, in addition to a broadcast that showcases Strathmore’s hockey history between the NHL ® game broadcast on Sunday evening.

This event will run from 8AM- 6PM on Saturday December 21, and 12PM – 8PM December 21 at Strathmore’s Family Centre (160 Brent Blvd Strathmore AB).

This event is open to the public (and free!) and is a great opportunity to join in the celebration of Strathmore’s hockey history!
