Civic Centre Strathmore

The Strathmore Civic Center is found in the same building as the Strathmore Aquatic Center. This versatile Center has been used to host graduations dinners, the Albert 55+ games, seminars, or registration for the annual Strathmore Triathlon.

The entire center can be rented out for functions and can hold up to 920 people in row seating, or 500 people at table seating. The Civic center can also be split into thirds with it’s portable walls for smaller groups needing less space. An additional and separate meeting room is also available for rent.

Civic Center details:

  • The Civic Center comes with a commercial kitchen fully equipped for caterers and includes an oven, grill and an ice maker.
  • A community kitchen is also available for rent and also contains everything you would need including a refrigerator and commercial dishwasher.
  • The Civic Center measures 94.5 ft by 73.5 ft and is 6950 square feet in its entirety.

Rental fees for the Center vary depending on the size of the venue you would like to rent out, but 1/3 of the Civic Center starts at $255.75 per day (or $60.80 per hour).

The separate room offered in the Civic Center is called the Chuck Mercer Room. It’s an ideal spot for smaller meetings and accommodates 132 people in rows, or 100 people at tables.

Rental fees for the Chuck Mercer room start at $29.25 an hour up to $217.75/day.
