The Strathmore Silhouettes are a Pre-Competitive and Competitive Gymnastics team that call Strathmore home. The Competitive team competes frequently in Calgary and across Alberta. The Pre-Competitive team focuses on developing athletes so they can progress towards competitive gymnastics as they grow and progress in their skill level.
The Competitive Strathmore Silhouettes team program is based off the Junior Olympic Program for levels 4+. This team welcomes girls aged 8 and older who pass tryouts. Because of the competitive nature of this team, practices are held 3 times a week, with the season going into July.
The Strathmore Gymnastics Center also offers recreational programs, developmental programs, and specialty programs for all ages and skill levels in addition to their competitive teams.
Some of the unique classes offered in Strathmore are Teen Rec, a program tailored to teenagers looking to stay active and have fun, and a Tumbler program for those wanting to learn floor routines.
This Strathmore gymnastics club offers online registration through their website, and recently announced that they would be offering classes over the summer of 2019.
