The Strathmore Community Football Association (SCFA) operates three football programs in the Strathmore, and is home to the Strathmore Badgers.
The three community teams offered in Strathmore include a Senior Football team, a Bantam team and a PeeWee team.
The Senior team includes students in high school (under 19) who are taking High School courses. The Senior team competes as part of the Mountain View Football Conference (MVFC), a non ASAA, 9 Man football league.
The Bantam teams are for ages 13-15 (Junior High students) and participates as a member of the Central Football League of the Alberta Minor Football system.
Finally, the Pee Wee team is limited to kids ages 10-12 and also competes in the Central Football League of the Alberta Minor Football system
